Noto (Nuotu in Sicilian) is an Italian town of 24,067 inhabitants in the province of Siracusa in Sicily.


Noto is 32 miles from Syracuse and in the south west of the province at the foot of the mountains Iblei. Its coast, between Avola and Pachino, gives its name to the gulf. With 550.86 km the town of Noto employs over one quarter of the province of Siracusa and is the largest town in Sicily and the Italian quarter.
